Rembang, December 2nd 2023 – PT Semen Gresik again recorded a brilliant achievement in the prestigious innovation event in Indonesia, namely the National Quality and Productivity Work Meeting (TKMPN) XXVII 2023 was held in Yogyakarta this year (November 27-30, 2023).

Semen Gresik managed to obtain a total of 5 outstanding achievements from innovators consisting of 2 highest Diamond titles from the PKM Nova It Onni & BI Savage team, 1 Platinum title from the SS Banyu Umup team, and 2 Gold titles from the GKM Sumber Angin & SS Mental team.

Head of the Semen Gresik Management System Unit (SMSG), Nurhadi, expressed his gratitude, thanks, and highest appreciation to the innovation teams from Semen Gresik who have struggled and succeeded in presenting a proud achievement for the company.

"In this year's TKMPN event there was an extraordinary surprise, where two Semen Gresik innovation teams managed to present the highest Diamond title," Nurhadi said in his press statement (2/12).

According to him, the participation of Semen Gresik in the highest national-level innovation competition is a form of commitment and full corporate support for innovation and continuous improvement in the work environment.

"The biggest innovation event at the national level is a strategic forum for exchanging knowledge and experience to improve the quality of company productivity. The company is committed to continuing to spur a culture of innovation to encourage process effectiveness, cost efficiency, and superior performance which leads to increased competitiveness," he explained.

Meanwhile, the head of the Nova It Onni PKM team, Seno Catur Sentiko, felt proud of this achievement, the award was the result of the team's hard work, all Semen Gresik people, and management who gave full support to the innovators.

"Alhamdulillah, we express our gratitude and thanks to the team, facilitators, and all parties who have supported us. Hopefully, this achievement can be a new energy for us to continue to innovate and make a positive contribution to the company," he said.

He continued, that the hope is following the motto of the Nova It Onni PKM team, namely "No innovation is too big or too small, everything is the same with a common goal to build Semen Gresik". By supporting all Semen Gresik innovators, it also supports the development of Semen Gresik in a better direction.

TKPMN XXVII is organized by Wahana Kendali Mutu (WKM) in collaboration with the Indonesian Quality and Productivity Management Association (AMMPI), and supported by the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower and the Indonesian Ministry of Industry. In 2023, the largest national innovation event was attended by more than 2174 participants from 182 large companies in Indonesia, divided into 562 teams in the National category in the field of quality management and work productivity.
